智能创新研究院简介 Introduction to the Academy of Intelligent Innovation of Shandong University

山东大学智能创新研究院(简称智研院)位于山东大学济南校区,是面向国际化、智能化、产业化的应用研究机构,是山东大学直属的学术特区。其使命是围绕智能产业技术的研究和相关产业的孵化与培育,以重大任务为牵引,通过大学与企业创新双引擎,建成一支高水平科技创新队伍,突破智能产业核心技术,培养智能产业领军人才,推动智能产业跨越式发展,抢占全球智能产业制高点。

智研院拥有包括讲习教授、特聘教授、泰山学者等各类人才,形成以“科技领军人物(战略科学家)、科技人才(教授、研究员)、工程师”的人才架构体系,践行有组织的科研,优化创新机制,协同攻关,致力于推进产学研结合。

智研院研究方向是AI+智慧计算,围绕RISC-V 生态,面向数据中心、边缘处理等高性能计算需求,设计系列化高性能处理器。主要研究内容包括CPU高层次建模仿真、单核高性能架构设计、多核高速互联架构、CPU高效验证环境开发;在系统软件方面,实现固件研发与优化、操作系统研发与优化、编译器支持与编译优化、硬件驱动研发与优化等,以此推动高端CPU 芯片研发及产业发展。

智研院拥有“新一代半导体技术与系统省重点实验室”等创新平台,建有集成电路设计平台,包括大算力计算中心、全流程EDA设计工具等。

智研院与业界领军企业和研究机构进行紧密合作,牵头承担RISC-V CPU研发重大科技创新工程等多个项目并成立合作研究院,积极推进产业化。

Academy of Intelligent Innovation (AII) of Shandong University is located at the Jinan Campus, and is an international, intelligent, and industrial-oriented applied research institution, and an academic special zone of Shandong University. Its mission is to focus on the research of Intelligent industry technologies and the incubation and cultivation of related industries, to build a high-level science and technology innovation team through the dual engines of university and enterprise innovation with major tasks as traction, to break through the core technologies of Intelligent industry, to cultivate leading talents of Intelligent industry, to promote the development of Intelligent industry, and to seize the high point of global Intelligent industry.

AII has various talents including Chair Professors, Special Professors, Taishan Scholars, Double-Appointed Professors. It has formed a talent structure system of scientific and technological leaders (strategic scientists), scientific and technological talents (professors, researchers) and engineers, practiced organized scientific research, optimized innovation mechanism, collaborative research and committed to promoting the combination of industry, academia, and research.

The research direction of AII is AI+ computing. AII focuses on RISC-V ecology, designs a series of high-performance processors for high-performance computing needs such as data centers and edge processing. The main research contents include CPU high-level modeling and simulation, single-core high-performance architecture design, multi-core high-speed interconnect architecture, CPU efficient verification environment development; in terms of system software, it realizes firmware development and optimization, operating system development and optimization, compiler support and optimization, hardware driver development and optimization, etc., to promote the research and development of high-end CPU chips and industrial development.

AII has innovation platforms such as the Provincial Key Laboratory of New Generation Semiconductor Technology and System, and has built an IC design platform, including a large computing center and a full set of genuine EDA design tools from EDA vendors.

AII closely cooperates with leading companies and research institutions in the industry, and takes the lead in a number of projects such as the RISC-V CPU R&D and Industrialization Major Science and Technology Innovation Project, establishes a cooperative research institute to actively promote industrialization.
